Best places to visit in Ireland

It is always nice to travel with a purpose, after spending twenty years of my life in Ireland - i have put together a small list of places that i would recommend any tourist visits.

The Giants Causeway
Giants Causeway
To kick start my list, i would like to include The Giants Causeway, located in Co. Antrim - a piece of Irish Folklore history, the stories surrounding this place vary from mythical giants once roaming the land as well as scientific reasoning behind the Causeway. Boasting stunning views that overlook the coast of Ireland. The walk of the stones is free but the car park for visitors is paid. There is also a visitor centre beside the cuaseway that teaches tourists about the history surrounding the causeway. The causeway is a must do walk for everyone during their time in Ireland.

Cliffs of Moher
Cliffs of Moher
Similar to the Giants Causeway, the Cliffs of Moher is another addition of beautiful scenery in Ireland, overlooking the coast of County Clare. The cliffs of Moher is a popular tourist attraction and the picture above explains why. The breath taking views of the coast of Ireland with the high peak that can be walked across is a must for anyone seeking them thrilling views of the Green Isle of Ireland. The Cliffs of Moher are more popular during the summer as you can see further out upon the water adding to the experience.

Guinness Storehouse
Finally, the Guinness Storehouse, located in Co. Dublin showcases how the iconic alcoholic beverage that is associated with Ireland is made. The storehouse offers tours showing the drink is made as well as tasting sessions throughout the tour. The tour has seven floors with plenty to do throughout the tour. With over 20 million visitors - the Guinness Storehouse is Ireland's Number One Attraction.
