Fuerteventura - My Favourite Island.....so far  In June of 2019, I seen the opportunity for cheap flights and accommodation in the beautiful island that is Fuerteventura. Fuerteventura is a Spanish island located just 100km from the coast of Africa, making it the closest Canary Island to the African Coast. A visit to Fuerteventura will guarantee beautiful weather of high temperatures as well as an abundance of activities to do.  During our visit in June - temperatures did not go below 22°C, this was welcomed as it makes a change from the gloom that Ireland has provided us with recently.  In an island like Fuerteventura, there is a heavy tourist population, this is due to the all year round beautiful weather that holidays makers seek when picking a location. Due to the high amount of tourists - the island is not short on activities. Going for a simple walk can have you occupied for hours, gazing at the sunset by the coast can make time go by like never before. The image abo
